We offer a common chart shared by other orthodox churches. Please see where you fit in. If tithing 10% of annual income - Example: Income of $100,000.00 = $10,000.00 per month. Income of $50,000.00 = $5,000.00 per month.
To receive Church membership benefits: minimum of $50.00 per month is required. The average HVMC monthly giving is between $100.00 - $250.00 - $800.00.
If you are not a pledging member, we encourage you to become one. If we all do our fair share, our monthly bills, as well as our short and long-term goals, can and will be met. Let’s go parish family --we need you! Thank you to all our supporters!
As we pay our cable, cell phones, coffee shop expenses, and types of enjoyable entertainment throughout the year, we ask you to remember and to include your Church.
As the average monthly expense for American households is $5,110, according to the most recent Consumer Expenditure Survey from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), we again encourage all to consider giving to our holy place of worship and to consider that which should matter above all things -- your soul's salvation.
